Enchanted Mesa Show Chorus thrives because of the energy and style of the people who have stepped up to lead. Here are a few of the people that make our ensemble tick:

Denise King - Director

Denise brings her vibrant, energetic attitude and nurturing ways to every rehearsal – forever coaching vocal production and barbershop technique.  The Enchanted Mesa Show Chorus is fortunate to have Denise King as their music director for over 20 years.  We receive the gift and thrill of making musical magic together! 

 

 

 

 

 

Kathryn Parnall - Assistant DirectorKathryn Parnall joined the Enchanted Mesa Show Chorus in September, 2000. She joined the music staff as an Assistant Director in 2005. She has served the chorus on the administrative team as Communications Coordinator, Member at Large, and Team Coordinator. Kathryn has participated on the music staff as an Assistant Director and a Baritone Section Leader. Recently she began singing lead and is serving as a Lead Section Leader. Currently Kathryn sings lead in two quartets and continues to enjoy the opportunities, challenges, and joys of singing Barbershop!

 

 

Dani Lenski - Assistant Director

Dani Lenski has been a member of Enchanted Mesa Show Chorus for three years and has been one of the assistant directors for one year.  She has been a barbershop nut since 2004 when she attended Youth Harmony Camp; a camp dedicated to teaching the barbershop craft to 8-12 graders.  Since then, she attended the University of New Mexico where she received her bachelor’s degree in theatre and associate’s degree in music.  She loves to bring what she learned to the ladies of the chorus as well as young singers who don't yet know the beauty of ringin' those barbershop chords!
